It was dreamed up during my many years behind the bar as a barista and in the kitchen messing around with roasting on my stove. In fact, it is one of the very few coffee companies in Orlando and Central Florida that was started by a person actually working in coffee. My core focus for Ligature was to create a company where I could highlight amazing, delicious, modern coffees, all while championing the stories and identities of the people behind the coffee, the coffee producers themselves.My goal is to use Ligature as a platform for all of us to learn more about coffee, and how we can make this industry more equitable for all. I’ve learned a lot along the way, and I am hoping there are many more coffees and lessons to come. I am hoping with Ligature we can tie together our love for coffee with our humanity and a desire for things to be better.

With the opening of our first retail space, we're expanding our commitment to accessibility, community, and education in the specialty coffee industry. We hope it will serve as both a warm, welcoming neighborhood shop and an intentional platform for showcasing carefully sourced coffees.
The menu includes all of the classics — espresso-based drinks, batch brew, pour overs, cold brew — as well as rotating specialty drinks, matcha and tea, unique housemade syrups, and rotating draft lattes and shop sodas.
