Kagumoini - Kenya

Kagumoini - Kenya

Our first coffee from the Kagumoini Wet Mill. The Kagumoini wet mill is a part of the Kamacharia Farmer Cooperative in Kenya. The volcanic soil in Kenya always helps Kenyan coffees be some of the juiciest coffees you can get and I am sure you will love this specific lot.

Tasting Notes: Juicy, Nectarines, Peach Lemonade, Sweet

Producer

Kagumoini Wet Mill is a part of the Kamacharia Farmer Cooperative Society. Over 1,300 members bring coffee grown on their small plots of land to the wet mill where lots are separated by days, processed, and sold.

Processing

Cherries are delivered to the mill same day as picking, where they are floated, pulped and fermented overnight before washing, density grading and drying on raised beds until they reach 10.5% - 11.5%, oftentimes 11-15 days.
